Chris

After interacting with small land masses
in the eastern Caribbean at the surface
and strong winds in upper levels of the
atmosphere, the third system of the 2006
Atlantic Hurricane season has fallen apart.
Named Chris, this system is located near,
Puerto Rico. With additional interaction
with the rough terrain over Cuba, Chris is
expected to remain a very weak system for
the next few days. No other systems
show signs of immediate strengthening
elsewhere in the Atlantic hurricane basin.
